Established in 1976, De Tagle Jewelers has grown from a small family owned Jewelry store and custom jewelry making, repair shop to its current multifaceted enterprise. ABOUT THE OWNER

De Tagle Jewelers is owned and operated by Alfonso de Tagle. He was just a kid when he learned the jeweler’s trade and how to sell diamonds. His father passed down his skill and craftsmanship as a goldsmith to his sons. And as he learned the business from his father, so later did Alfonso’s nephew Daniel Sanchez-De Tagle.

 

In 1983 after working as an independent contractor for the two major jewelry corporations in the Bay Area, Alfonso opened his first jewelry store at Cambrian Plaza center in San Jose, California. Ten years later, Alfonso had the opportunity to expand the business and move his store to the front of the center. With the help of his nephew and now with twenty years of experience in the jewelry industry De Tagle Jewelers is one of the Bay Areas leading Jewelers.
